My guess is the smart ass that posted it never played the game in his life. While Stain does have a long way to go from a conditioning standpoint, he does have some serious basketball skills. I'm not sure "project" is the proper description but he is definitely a work in progress.

Yeah, when an over weight and slow player can put up 18 and 8 against Duke I'm less than concerned.

Interesting comparison of two BIG guys against the Dookies.
Stainbrook had 18 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals.
MSU's former Michigan MR Basketball Derrick Nix fouled out against Duke with 2 points (1-7) and ONE rebound.
