Were they ever on fire tonight?! Nakia and Amber were awesome, Karisma brought some star power of her own, as did Khalilah and LaShanda, they led from box to wire... But some bad news kind of tempered my joy at their game tonight, I found out that Destiny Samuels may be out for the season with a leg injury (stress fracture, I was told), she was in street clothes on the UAB bench tonight. They are going to miss her presence on the court. If I get a chance to talk with her again, I'll ask her the extent of her injury and what kind of prognosis she's facing. She sits in the same section that I have season tickets in for the men's games, as does Khalilah and Amber.
