No one responded because what you posted is mental masturbation that has no chance of happening. The Big 12 North/lesser Big 12 South schools are not going to leave that conference voluntarily to join the Big East.

Texas is now fat and happy. They make the most TV money of any school in the nation. They aren't going to blow the Big 12 up.

OU isn't going to leave Texas, and can't leave Oklahoma St politically. A&M talks about going to the SEC, but Rick Perry is dead set against it. Politically, they can't get it done. Culturally, they'd be lost without their hated rival.

The Big 12 North schools are the schools who proposed the uneven distribution of TV money last summer to appease Texas when it was flirting with the Pac 10.

So you really expect the Kansas schools, after getting what they wanted (keeping the Big 12 together), to shell out $10M each in exit fees to join a worse football conference who distributes less money to its members than the Big 12 does?

Get real.

The Big East might get to cherry pick the Big 12 leftovers one day if and when the Big 12 blows up, but the Big East will never be able to raid the Big 12 while Texas is still a member.
