Nothing like ended the half on a 16-4 run.

IT WAS called on Jackson on an inbounds pass. Personally, when they showed the replay, I didnt see anything look flagrant. Mick sent Jackson to the locker room so I dont know what all that was about. Chuck said Huggs started getting all the breaks after he chewed some refs asses and hoped the technical on Cronin might even things out. I seriously doubt it. Huggs can get in their faces, mick aint allowed to have a ladder on the bench.

Jackson deserved that technical. Stupid play, don't know what he was thinking.

Awful officiating. 2 of these guys need help.

7 on 5 the last 10 minutes.

Yep UC's 11 fouls to WVU's 6. WVU shoots 8 FTs to UC's 2. Oh, and the 2 technicals.

No question about that.

I could have understood a foul being called on Jackson. He did seem to give him a shove or a yank, but a technical was foolishly excessive.

They've made 4 3's so far. I'll take 36% shooting from 3.

They are still in the game. UC needs to keep pressuring and WV will wear out. Gates has 0 fouls right now so I hope he comes out like a madman. He can be very aggressive 2nd half, I hope!

FWIW, Mo Egger and his nice press row seat said that the Jackson T was legit, but that the Cronin T was complete BS.

seriously, but the worst part is they still deserve to be losing at this point

gates should never handle the ball 20 feet from the basket

maybe mick will resign and nancy will enter the draft, thats the only hope i have for the future

What's the difference? Still counts as a personal. And it doesn't cost you the ball anymore. So, same result.

You are missing the point.

WVU has no size in the paint and no bench.
Do you really want 40% of your shots 3 pointers?

You just nailed it. WVU is getting a bunch of easy rebounds because UC is settling for outside shots. Attacking the basket will lead to fouls to pile up for WVU and give UC more second chance opportunities.

Mo is wrong. TV Replay doesn't lie. They showed it from multiple angles. You can call that 10 times a game.

Not really. Believe they were in the bonus already.

Well they aren't shooting much better on 2 point attempts and the refs haven't called fouls when we have attacked the basket anyway. I hope things even up in the second half.
