The only thing I have not seen mentioned is about EMU. I think that if in the next 2 years EMU does not pick up their attendance or competitiveness I think they should be tossed from the MAC. I know that sounds harsh but seriously this is the MAC not Big East. If that happens the MAC should pick up ISU (Illinois State) as they are already upgrading their football stadium to FBS/MAC standards and they have local support of their team.

I think FIU is just to far for everyone and they would cost way to much to travel... Like FAU is for soccer.
I guess having FIU and FAU join the MAC could be interesting as the other teams would like the increased recruiting in FL but that's about it. Overall I don't like it.

So here is my vote for the MAC in 2013
East - UMASS, Temple, Buffalo, Akron, Kent, Ohio, additional 2 (suggested by the article UBS/JMU/UNH)
West - NIU, ISU, WMU, CMU, Ball St, Miami, Toledo, BGSU

Hopefully with adding some east coast teams the MAC can get an east coast bowl game while keeping our other 3.
