The ACC may go after Pitt, Rutgers, SU, or Uconn before they would approach WVU. It may end up being the ACC schools which are being looked at by the Big East before all is said and done however. If you take a look from time to time on the UNC boards you'll see they have in fact had many positive posts about adding WVU so I'll take their words over your jealous thoughts.

I'm not sure who you are referring to but I have been consistent with my comments.

One thing is absoultely for sure, and that is that if the ACC ever did expand, WVU would get the nod to the ACC long before ECU would ever be considered. And ECU fans dont take that as a cheap shot because its not. I'm just stating what I believe is a fact. I think ECU is a fine school but no way would they be even remotely considered before WVU.

So you think a school, UNC, that voted against expanding with BC, Syracuse, Miami, & VaTech last time, would stoop to adding West Virginia? The only reason VaTech got in was because UVA's vote was held hostage. There are many in the ACC that would rather contract than to add West Virginia. Woad Blue is the poster that keeps pushing West Virginia on the UNC Rivals board. He has already been kicked off UNC's Scout board for rambling on about ACC expansion.
One last question. If West Virginia actually has better market coverage that Pitt, and is academically on par with UConn, why isn't West Virginia being considered for Big 10 expansion?

SouthernPirate and I are different people, but I think it's pretty glaring...
Buck: ECU will not be considered for the Big East because there are no Tier 4 schools currently in the BCS, and ECU is a Tier 4 school.
Others: Various good things about ECU...
Buck: Hey, facts are facts, I didn't make them up, take it up with USNWR.
------------------------------
Others: WVU will not be considered for the ACC because there are no Tier 3 schools currently in the ACC, and WVU is a Tier 3 school.
Buck: Various good things about WVU...
Shouldn't you be taking up WVU's tier 3 ranking with USNWR right now?

But to suggest that schools such as ECU and Memphis are locks while Marshall wouldn't even be considered (when facts show it WAS considered equally with the others) is simply not the case.
I hope you did not see anywhere in my post that said they are locks. I said they are closer institutionally, but need more advancement and resources to be seriously considered for invitation, and that was all.
