I'll admit I was wrong
This doesn't happen very often (me being wrong). I made a comment a year or two ago (probably in anger) about Memphis having a better FB team in the future than UC. I was wrong.

A great coach has a lot to do with it. Being in a BCS conference probably has some to do with it.

I hope all of the UC fans enjoy the Orange Bowl. While I wish it was Memphis, it's good to see that a school that was very recently closely tied to Memphis can get it done. It gives me hope.

I may actually pull for the Bearcats. That doesn't happen very often.

I've always liked 3601, always a straight shooter and this just adds to the respect level. In all honesty Memphis seems like it has a great fanbase overall, better than my own at Rutgers I'm afraid. Hopefully you folks will be aboard sooner rather than later. Memphis and Temple for a 10-team conference anyone?

In the words of Rocky, Absolutely.

I've always thought Cincy was a solid program that was a little under appreciated. The advantage Cincy has over Louisville, and some other Big East programs, is that it is located in an area with pretty good high school football.

Yes only Rutgers, USF, and Pitt have the same level of high school football around it.

Memphis and Louisville has good football. What about Male, St. X, Germantown, Briarcrest, Whitehaven?
3601- You are never wrong in my book, at least I haven't seen it. No apologies 05-nono

I like him too (and we have several beers together), but we disagree on a few things. One being our football coach. I think he is one of the best coaches in the nation and wouldn't trade him for anybody I can think of. There may be some who are better, but he is the perfect fit for Memphis.
