Not sure what game you were watching? Sherman did not play

Sherman is listed in the boxscore as having played 1 minute, so you might be wrong.

That's a mistake. Sherman didn't play. Someone must have plugged in the wrong number in the box score.

Oy Vey, Axeme...you set yourself with that one!
Talk about ill-advised 3s, talk about FTs, talk about lack of offensive flow, talk about all the offensive woes you want. This team doesn't play D, and at least one of the senior leaders is the worst offender! Steals and attempted steals are not D.
Literally, if it wasn't for Parks in the last 2 games, we would have been blown out on our home floor.
I'll eat my words from an earlier post when I said Parks couldn't be a force. He has raised his game beyond what I believed he could.

I still think WCU was overmatched, but played an excellent game, helped in great measure by our slow-to-react defense. We are still thinking about what we should do instead of reacting and that half a beat is the difference between a challenged three and one taken in rhythm, and getting in position on drives or reaching and fouling. We just are not there yet. We have taken too many poor shots too early in the shot clock as well.

They way we are playing now, we will have a great deal of trouble against teams like Miami who are patient and can exploit weaknesses. I look for us to make strides in the next couple of weeks. The first four losses, unfortunately, could be explained away, but Sat.'s loss is inexcusable. Stepping back a second, we have to realize that most good teams have at least one of those inexcusable losses every year, and we can only hope that it is a wake-up call.

I have no problems with the coaching so far. We all should have known that this team would have a lot of finding itself to do. I am far more interested in what kind of team we will be the last 3 weeks of the season than the first three. This is the point in the season when coaches earn their (meager MAC) salaries: you find out what you have and then adjust and fine-tune until you figure out what works.

Had we won 3 of the last five, it would be a different sotry, but we are playing for a MAC championship, period. The OOC games are strictly tuneups now. YSU, UNCG, CSU, and TU are all games we should win, but 3/4 would be very good as well heading in to our opener in Athens. Now THAT is a big game.

axeme...I was just saying, don't be so quick to dismiss this WCU team...they played #2 Connecticut in their opener, beat Louisiana Tech and Northen Illinois and lost by 1 to San Diego State in the Alaska Shootout, and from what I saw, combined a balanced offensive attack and strong perimeter shooting with some decent D. This was not North Carolina Central or UNC Wilmingtom. And maybe, coming onto this one, some of our guys thought the same way you did...

Yeah, maybe they will prove to be better than the middle rank SoCon team I thought they were. I doubt it, but Hunter is a good coach. I think they are a year away from challenging in that conference, though. A certain guard in that conf. needs to graduate first, plus WMC needs more experience.

Ok, I'm wondering here; how Parks look on D?
