Game Picks for 10/18
BYU @TCU; Boy this one is a big one... I like BYU in this game because of their TE's and Hall ability to throw the deep ball. BYU wins
Colorado St @Utah; Colorado St played a nice home game against TCU, but I think Utah will be waiting and ready. Utah wins
San Diego St @New Mexico; New Mexico played BYU tough last week. I have not seen San Diego St stop the run this year yet and they have not really had a running game either. New Mexico wins
Air Force @UNLV; Boy this is another hard one to call, but in the end I think this game could come down to who plays the most error free. So that's why I like Air Force in this game. Air Force wins

TCU look awesome, that is by far the best they have played all year. They have had Y on their blocking dummy since January and spent most the off season working on BYU according to Patterson.
TCU D did not shock me as much as the O did, the D was ranked #1 in the nation (BYU had almost 100 yards they were giving up; 297 vs 207.4) and #1 in sacks. BYU turned the ball over 4 times and gave up 6 sacks, which was the big difference in the game, IMO. I've watched every TCU game this year and with out a doubt that is the best I have ever seen the O play this year or even last year for that matter. They also used a WR at QB for the first time ever which took BYU by total surprise, his first drive he had 3 carries for 60 yards and a TD. After BYU adjusted after that series he was a lot less effective (6 carries for 17 yards), but the damage was already done by then. Dalton looked really sharp passing 12-19 for 170 yards and 2 TD's (were his first passing TD's of the year, by the way) and his receivers helped out with driving catches and a couple of wonderful over the shoulder catches. TCU seemed to get better as the game when along, it was like a snowball effect...

Sorry but it looks like the voters don't agree with as well as me. All that happened was TCU showed they were way under rated and they made big jumps in all the polls;
Up 9 spots in the Coaches Poll
Up 12 spots in the Harris Poll
Up 12 spots in the AP Poll
This loss was really best for the MWC as much as I didn't like it (since I'm a BYU fan), because if BYU would have won it would have knocked TCU out of the top 25 again.
