I'm a SJSU alum and Spartans fan. But I have a bad feeling that 2012 will be the last year of WAC football. It will probably continue on as an Oly sports conference. I loved the WAC before Boise State came along. Last season was great too with the core 8 teams, but now that FresNO State, Nevada and Hawaii are leaving it's going to kill off the conference for football. SJSU, Utah State, LA Tech, NMSU and Idaho will now have to find new conferences just to keep their football programs alive. The two new Texas transfers from FCS (Texas State and UTSA) are already looking to move and they haven't even played a WAC game.
