RE: Boise St. ready to jump ship to the MWC
Most connected fans of the WAC, MWC, and Boise State clearly know that no moves seem to be on the horizon - but it was the President of Boise State who made the comments about wanting to be in the MWC - so any annoyance about the resulting discussion should be directed at him. Bob Kustra started it. He is the President of Boise State and, when he starts talking about such a subject, it is news whether other people want it to be or not.

As for Sacramento State, UC Davis, Portland State, or anyone else out West being a possible future - strong emphasis on the word future - replacement school, just remember that failing to plan is planning to fail. Never do anything without a back-up plan. You never know what tomorrow might bring. I, personally, do not believe there will be a major realignment in 2010, like so many people predict, but I do think a few minor moves may take place.
