I remember watching this. The crazy thing is that I was looking for this video on youtube just the other day.

Yeah, I was stationed at Ft Bragg NC and Sanford (JD's home) is 25 miles down the road from there. I believe that Rumple Furniture, JD's long time sponsor was also in Sanford. Glen McDuffie (I believe JD's brother) was a regular at Cumberland County speedway and was much like JD....took budget cars and made them competitive. Morgan Shepard's current effort, Dave Marcus and JD were the last of the independants.

The only diecast car I've ever bought is a red Rumple Furniture #70 JD McDuffie.
