Anybody remember when they played in the NIT a couple years ago (2000 I think)? Georgetown won something like 115-111 in triple overtime in Hooville. They can only hope to have a game like that again.

That was the year that UVa fans though they should have gotten into the NCAA tourney instead of us (and perhaps they should have, given what happened during the regular season).

We ended up going to the Final Four, though.... 03-wink

That's right...I forgot about that controversy. Seems like it was UVA, Vandy, and Notre Dame (they were coached by some guy that's now at another school 03-wink) that were really fuming because they got snubbed. IIRC, they all got beat in the first round of the NIT.
