SIU: 9
Butler: 16
So, SIU is a top 10 team and Butler is a top 15 team.

Butler is a top 10 caliber basketball team and SIU is a top 150 caliber basketball team.
1. RPI says otherwise
2. NCAA bids say otherwise...best 65 make the tournament; we're well on our way to making our 6th straight appearance.
3. Top 150 caliber? We're 26th and 29th in the two polls.
4. SIU, Butler, Nevada, and Creighton are in their own class for mid-majors.
5. Give it up. Your MAC fetish and Judson fetish is getting old.

Im afraid you are going to find that by the end of the year, SIU is close to where I project. Losing to Evansville does not bode well for SIU, I just think they are going to show their true colors here down the stretch. I hope I'm wrong, we shall see.

Evansville also beat Missouri State at home as well. They are in the top 100 in the RPI. It's not that terrible of a loss.

Wow, I almost fell off my chair I was laughing so hard!
Madddawg, I think you suffer from "DirectionalIllinoisitis". It's a condition that clouds your judgement on the actual talent and ability of directional Illinois schools. ;-)

It will take them a few days just to stop laughing so they'll even be able to announce our game. But, we'll show 'em! NIU is planning a gala halftime entertainment with 400 gay and lesbian performers dancing to the pep band's rendition of "Rocky Horror Picture Show". It will be known as NIU's "Gay-la Extravanganza". I will be in my glory! I have been sellling tickets like crazy in Chicago's Boys Town on Broadway. We are projecting a sellout of over 9,000 screaming gays, lesbians, transsexuals, transvestites, masochists, sadists, pedophiles, necrophiliacs, and even a couple "normal" folks who are just there to see the game. The Convo Center will be decked out in glitter, sequins, lovely mood lighting, silks, and crepe paper. Cher will be there to sing the national anthem, and I will be at mid-court exposing myself to one and all. There will even be a sign hanging over the NIU bench that says, "We play gay". You big boys can keep your televised basketball games. Our game will be televised on the LOGO Channel for the world to see how progressive and liberal we all are in DeKalb.
