MyBB Nice SMU Basketball Tweet from Jeff Goodman
Heard SMU beat Colorado in the closed scrimmage by 20+ points. . . This following an SMU dismantling of Tubby Smith's Texas Tech team in a closed scrimmage the previous week.

Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN 3h
Here's a semi-surprising result in one of the secret scrimmages: SMU handled Colorado with ease over the weekend.

It is just a scrimmage. Doesn't tell anything about the team. We had 4 main players missing in our scrimmage against Baylor. We will not know till the exhibition or Ok State to know what to really expect.

Well aware it's "just" a scrimmage. . . But, the rest of the AAC teams better not sleep on SMU.

geotag quit being such a troll. OP was just posting some good info from a national bball writer. Just because its not about memphis doesn't mean it shouldn't be posted.

I have been saying it all off season on this board, the Memphis board and any other place I could post it. SMU will make the NCAA Tournament. I stand by that. If I am wrong then I'll bite it I guess, but as of now I firmly believe that.

Would you can it already, SMU hoops has been bad for a long time, be courteous enough let them enjoy their moments without being a dick about it.

I believe they are a tourney team this year. Just saying there is really nothing to take away from scrimmage like Baylor handing it to us this weekend. It isn't accurate enough.

The Pony fans and Geotag are both right. Good signs from SMU but you wont know anything until the season starts. 2008 Memphis got blown out by St. Louis in a scrimmage. We went on to lose 2 games and come within 5 seconds of a national title and SLU, well, SLU didn't.

There are seven people being chicken littles. Others telling them how dumb they are and ones wondering why 3 guys missed the bus. No meltdown though. We shot horrible from three anyway and Dixon was rusty.
