Ziegler likely won't in another month. Trey would leave if Ernie is fired, but that kid isn't getting any better under his fathers tutelage. We will see if they want another 2 years of stalled momentum or if they want to try to find the right guy.

And Trey Ziegler needed to get some good coaching to play well at the college level, and he isn't getting it. So far, a waste of raw talent. He does some things on the floor that just wouldn't be tolerated on a good team.
My thoughts for a long, long time.

I’ve been critical of Carlton Guyton for his bad decisions and underperformance. Glad he’s stepped up a bit over the past two games. We will need him down the stretch- hope he keeps it up.

Hawkins has done less with more talent than any coach I can think of in the MAC in a long, long time.
Hawkins is the most overrated coach in MAC. WMU is usually picked to win the West every year and he continues to find ways to blow it.

RE: Kent State @ EMU/vs. Ball State - BIG WEEK
Saturday's games are very interesting from a Kent State perspective. As usual, without a KSU victory none of this matters much but here is a look at three biggies.
Toledo is at Bowling Green at 2:00PM. This is a rivalry game and the Rockets must be feeling a shot of confidence after taking down Ohio University. Toledo isn't a player for a bye, Bowling Green is. Wouldn't it be nice if the Rockets could take down the Falcons?
At 4:30 Ohio is at Eastern Michigan. Eastern Michigan at 5-5 lead the West. A couple more losses and they are another team that will be playing in the pre-Cleveland round. The thing is, I am confident that CMU, WMU, BSU, UT and the rest of the West will drop a few losses on one another once things get going. On other hand, dealing OU its second straight and dropping them a game back of the Flashes would be spectacular.
WMU is at Buffalo in the 6:00PM STO slot. For some reason I still think WMU is capable of beating a team from the MAC East. I may be delusional but a guy can dream.
Assuming Kent State wins, which I think they will 74-59 behind 21 from JGreene, if one of the three West teams I mentioned above can win it would be a good day.
