RE: Damn Ravens
How does one become a fan of two teams from two different areas over 2500 miles apart? Just wondering.

I'm a NY kid and a 4th generation Giants baseball fan. My great grandpa was a fan when they were in the polo grounds, then my grandpa when they were still there. My dad was born in '51 and has been a fan ever since he could walk, just like myself. Thus, i bleed orange and black from april-october and blue and white from September-February.

Makes perfect sense now. LOL

Gotta hope Cameron is out of there. It's not hard to see a poorly coached team. However, there is plenty of blame to go around for the Ravens.
Bummer.
Now it's two crummy teams from the NFC. Probably 49ers win, I think the NFL wants that game, and the way things have been played out in the NFC, I'm not sure the fix isn't in.
Pats v 49ers is two large market teams, with entire coasts taking it personally.
Belichick gets his 4th Lombardi Trophy, and is a lock on the HoF.
you sir, are insane. We're definitely a better team than the Patriots.
Giants look like ...
don't know where you're going with that, but I have no doubt that we can torch that Pats D. And our D is playing pretty damn well right now.
I'm seeing other teams lose, not Giants win. SF didn't impress me anyway.
Pats are flawed, certainly, but Giants look crummy.

Yes to both, but Flacco can easily run for first down on the following third down play. Even then, the defender was all over the receiver.

He still pushed it. That was a very short attempt.
Ravens need to drop Cameron. Hell, they should have dropped Lee Evans long ago (what a lame season for a high profile FA). They'd have been better off w/ TO.

I understand your comment about Evans, but if it were not for him yesterday, it wouldn't have even been a game.

I don't think Umenyiora was playing either.
Giants - great offense
Patriots - great offense
Giants - great defense
Patriots - secondary sucks. Eli will pick them apart.
I'm going with my second team, Giants.

perhaps we're not watching the same games. We BEAT the sh*t out of the Falcons. We beat down the Packers and it it wasn't for an awful replay judgment by the ref and a phantom roughing the passer call, we would've beaten them by at least 24.
The pats are feeling good right now, but someone needs to let them know that Eli Manning is not Tebow or Flacco. He's one of the best QB's in football and will not be beaten by a team that uses WR's at cornerback

Giants beat the Falcons. Packers self-destructed. 49ers self-destructed. Neither was impressive.

We'll see. Ravens are a far better team than Giants, so I'm not sure why the Pats should be too worried.

RE: Damn Ravens
I am a Patriots fan.... if I had to bet money on this game, I would have to take the Giants. The Patriots have struggled vs good defensive teams (see the Ravens, Steelers, Giants games), and cant stop good QBs (which we didnt have to face in the AFC side of the playoffs once the Steelers were put out).
Giants will use the same game plan they used in the last Super Bowl... pressure Brady... if they can do that, they will win. Patriots will probably use the same game plan they did for the Ravens, use quick, short passes to keep the pressure off Brady. Hope its a good game! Go Pats!
