RE: 90KSU after two months
I got a call from a sales rep at the ticket office. I had to regrettably decline because of living 10 hours away. I only hope I can get up for at least 1 home game, but my Saturday classes are going to be stacked this semester. I told him that the call was a welcome shock.
I've done a lot of complaining about Kent's marketing, and I feel like KSU is finally doing something about it. So, in response to my years of complaining, I want to congratulate the Athletic Department on taking an initiative. This is what I always wanted to see. I was in Ohio a couple weekso ago, and was very excited to see the electronic billboard on I-76 with the KSU90 ad.
So, if someone from the AD reads this, I want to thank you. If you are a fan, you need to buy into this. I would love to pay $30 a seat and have the family plans set for several weekends in the fall. That is less than it cost 1 person to go to Cedar Point for 1 day!

Going to the game at Penn State and their parking fees are $40 (yes for a car), so yes $30 for the whole season is quite a bargain.

Alpha you sounds like a flash through and through so i have a tax opportunity for you. Even though you cant attend you can buy 2 tickets for $60 and mail all the tickets to a local charity and take the tax deduction. Someone like the Ronald McDonald house of akron or cleveland would love to go. or contact the kent or stow youth football organizations as im sure they could find a butt for the seat.

I live 5 hours away and don't get to but 1 home game a year, maybe 2. In past years the ticket office said they'd even co-ordinate the un-used ticket donations for me, I guess it's a popular thing and they have some organizations they work with.
