Ah the old "pay an FCS team from 1,000+ miles away $400k for our home opener" plan. Yikes.

At least its a flagship FCS and not some random directional. (Yes I know we're a directional, yes I hate it).

I would rather it be an in-state directional.

+1, I know a lot goes into scheduling, so maybe this was the best option, but man it seems so easy/simple to make sure we have one of the FCS Illinois schools every year we need to have a home FCS game.
