RE: MAC Basketball Week 5 (2/6-2/10)
Nice 19 point win for the Cards over Kent tonight. Trey and Tahjai tore it up inside, with a combined 44 points on 17-22 shooting, along with 9 assists and 19 rebounds. The best they have played together this year. Add to that nearly 60% shooting from the field overall, 50 points in the paint, and contributions from Sellers, Persons and Thompson, and it was definitely the most complete game the Cards have played since the loss of two key players sent them into a bit of disarray.

Though this season hasn't been as successful as we had hoped, it isn't a bad series of events to break the much-too-long run of futility against the East teams:
Ohio: first win since 2011
Kent: first win since 2005
Akron: first win since 2004
