So any projections made by a reputable medium that is not from the horse's mouth itself (ESPN) are unfounded? Do you also discredit traditional media when they make predictions on award ceremonies as they don't have any more influence or insight into who will win the awards than the general public? The fact is that the writers who wrote these articles follow college football for a living. They aren't "some sports fan on Twitter." They have insight as to which type of games are chosen for College GameDay and make projections based off that knowledge. To discredit a projection (and a source) because they don't directly influence the selection process is irresponsible on your part. And they're only predictions, FFS.
