B1G (Kansas, UConn)-Regional rivals for Nebraska, Rutgers
B12 (Houston, Memphis, Cincinnati)-Go metro, build toward WVU
AAC (St. Louis, Dayton, USM, ODU)-Take in A10/CUSA outliers
CUSA (NMSU, Texas St)-Add west...UAB to the east
SBC (Liberty)-Troy to the west in FB

This would go a long way to smoothing out geographical issues in these conferences.

I don't think you'll see UConn in the B1G anytime soon, unless their football program becomes a perennial top 25 or at least bowl eligible.

Conferences like the B1G and SEC aren't going to expand unless the candidate(s) can add value ($$$) to the conference above and beyond what they're currently getting.

One has to ask, what does each school currently make per year and would adding someone like UConn ADD to that number.

Precisely. The B1G is already at a very big 14 member conference... they are only going to expand if the school adds huge value in terms of top territory that the BTN doesn't include (UConn doesn't fit here, nor does Kansas) and/or being a football blueblood (UConn also doesn't fit here, nor does Kansas). Additionally, if that candidate doesn't bring the DMA nor football pedigree, then they definitely would not get the pass for not being AAU, which UConn is not, but Kansas and Iowa State are, amongst the potential sidekick addition candidates.

So pretty much if the conference expands barring a NCAA mandatory P4 expansion protocol, UConn is all but eliminated from contention.

B1G will likely only be expanding if any of the non-PAC/SEC/ACC prime targets (Texas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma) decide to come onboard. And possibly whomever else they decide to bring aboard as add-ons would be considered. Highly unlikely UConn would be in the picture here.
