I'm sorry, but she is incorrect with someone with male chromosomes, and he is incorrect for someone without male genitals.

That leaves it or some really awkward construction. I support LBGT rights, but not the destruction of the English language.

While I STRONGLY disagree about your characterization of gender, understand that the others in here are using pronouns to insult her and all Transpeople.

The use of the word IT to describe a Transperson is NEVER acceptable. It is the most hateful thing you can ever say to or about a Transperson. That pronoun is not used to describe human beings.

And the Bigots in here know it.

Truly deplorable.
