40 schools from Connecticut to Hawaii for the country to follow throughout the year on NBC-SN.
Recognizable Football names like UCF, Houston, Boise, San Diego St and BYU.
Recognizable Basketball names like Uconn, Cincinnati, Wichita St and UNLV.
Throw a few games on NBC to sweeten the pot. People are tired of espn...could this lineup offer a decent alternative for college football, basketball and baseball viewers?
I’d say it would be a nice compliment to the Olympics and Notre Dame for NBC.
Why C-USA but not the Sun Belt?

Because CUSA, AAC, MWC, BYU media contracts are almost up. Sun Belt still has several years to go with their current ESPN contract no? The MAC is locked up with ESPN playing Wednesday games for another decade, so they are out.

The current AAC members when they were in CUSA almost merged with the MWC. But the current strategy seems to be to separate themselves from the rest of the G5.

I think an alliance with the MWC might make more long term sense.
