I honestly believe that Ron Whitcomb is one of the best young QB's coaches in the country. We would be foolish to get rid of him. Doesn't matter how good the quarterback is if he doesn't have any weapons. Where are the Tight Ends we were promised? Where are the Wide Receivers we were supposed to be developing? The lack of talent all over the field is appalling. Losing Lawry is going to be tough. I am not as optimistic about next year as some of you, obviously.
Saying he is one of the best in the country is crazy. There is a reason he is coaching in CUSA and not for a P5 team. A P5 team could pay him several times what he receives from ODU.

I stand by my opinion. Whitcomb remains below the radar, for now that is.

I believe Whitcomb is a fine quarterback coach. Just find some receivers that can catch the ball and a tight end and some help on the offensive line and our quarterback will be fine.
