After reviewing teams I think Wofford is the 8 and SUU is the 7 just from a travel perspective as Wofford would be a bus trip. This is all contingent on the games all being won by favorites.

Yes I understand. Only proof of this seems to an article by Craig Haley. I'm not saying it isn't true, but have yet to see it anywhere but the link mentioned earlier.

I agree with Rocks. That quote kept popping up about opposite sides of the bracket - saw it on ESPN, Yahoo Sports, etc. - but it always originated with the Haley article which didn't cite a source. The NCAA site doesn't include this language. Maybe someone made an informal comment to Haley and he ran with it. The NCAA should put it writing though if it's a real thing.
