My son is a true UAB fan because he was born into the fold. Both his parents are UAB graduates so attending all the UAB functions in his early childhood shaped his view. Sadly he chose another university to pursue his athletic endeavors on the collegiate level due to UAB's limited athletics but he was home for homecoming this past weekend. So give it time new generations of UAB fans are in the making04-rock
