Early signs are good:

* I like the renewed focus to developing a "total big man". Cacok adding a jumper will help him take his game to another level.

* The pedigree of assistant coaches McGrath has brought in is high. The combination of experience and devoted skillsets (such as Wolf being our "big man" specialist) have me very excited about the ENTIRE coaching staff. And this is coming from a UNC hater.

* The caliber of recruits brought in thus far looks strong too. You don't know what they're capable of until they start playing D-I competition, but at least on paper, our incoming players are promising. At least as promising as just about any other new coach's recruiting class can be before getting a season under his belt.


I'm bullish on McGrath. That doesn't me I'm sold on him, but I'm feeling good given the limited information we have.
