Doubt it. I'm quite positive the school will want someone
with ZERO Pitino connections, and that makes sense considering.
He also might have made the move at just the right time, some ADs wouldn't want to touch him with the connection regardless of whether or not he was directly involved. Guilt by association. Honestly, makes you wonder if he knew about the investigation and struck while the iron was hot.

I thought about that too right after I hit send on this one. I could def see them going a total different direction for sure.

Additionally, yeah... it makes complete sense now why he was working a big deal as quickly as he could. Does anyone remember how much of his contract was guaranteed?
