Loss of net neutrality will cause customers to jump on alternative providers. Either wireless or hopefully fiber optic

But creating that infrastructure to handle the data is going to cost huge jack. Not to mention paying for all of the abandoned cable that still has to be paid for.

The next wave in business capitalism will be providing high speed services for internet and streaming. Cables' bandwidths can still be used and optimized for slower data rate applications. High speed networks need the new infrastructure. 4K TV has stalled due to this.
