Chevis is a graduate transfer and can play immediately. Chambers transferred to be closer to a sick family member, and the NCAA usually allows those cases to play immediately as well.
The NCAA doesn't grant family hardship waivers to transfers when its only an Aunt or Grandparent who is sick unless it is the players sole guardian. We had a situation like this not to long ago. NCAA has really cracked down on this recently. You also must be reasonably involved in day to day care of that person.
