Well, if they do that, they end up paying us a lot more than anyone else has paid us for visiting them, which wouldn't be too smart.

Did you ever consider that maybe playing in Hattiesburg once in a while might be a good thing? They've got fans down there. They've got recruits down there. They've got players from the area. It's not like USM is located in some kind of no man's land where no one would ever go unless the town bribed them.

Played in Hattiesburg recently. Why are you adamant State won't play this time?? Buyouts aren't that common.

Good question. Just putting the game in Hattiesburg on the back-end of the 3-game series makes me question MSU's motives. I guess I just don't trust MSU with the financial incentives being what they are.

Considering Tennessee is "only" paying USM $850k when the following 2 years we are getting paid double that by Alabama and Auburn makes you wonder how much "buy" games will be in 6-8 years.
