Pretty much this. They're either on the first two deep, or they're going to be redshirted, barring injuries. TLL in 2011 was a rare exception to this, as they got desperate looking for a kick returner amid a slow start.

The two deep is always on the last page of the weekly press release for the game, which comes out on Tuesday or Wednesday of game week.
