USC and UCLA would never allow it they were demanding $20 million a year when the past PAC 12 deal was being done because of their "market"

and Stanford would not allow it either because Stanford would not be happy with the number of Olympic sports they sponsor while Texas sponsors a great deal fewer and is getting special treatment

then Oregon and Cal and probably UW would not want to feel like little sisters to those three (and Texas) so they would be against it as well
