I think this team will be tough dribble driving and hitting the mid-range shot. However, since NMSU is suspect from three point range. If they can't drill three like last season, they will need to be even better executing their perimeter defense. They can't afford to be trading twos for threes with some of the teams in the WAC.

If NMSU's defense can generate more turnovers, rebound well, and draw fouls driving the ball, they can compensate for having a less accurate three point shooting team.
