Bye bye GCU fans theory that St. Mary's and the WCC is in love with them. NMSU and everyone else in the WAC can stop fantasizing about being in a new conference cause no one else wants any of us. NMSU is not going anywhere because of it's horrible football program and UNM & Utep working behind the scenes to keep NMSU out of their conferences, GCU is rich but a for profit school and no one wants them because of their poor academic rating as well and the rest of the WAC is viewed as D2 move ups and also academic issues with regards to Bakersfield & Utah Valley.

I really like the wac personally if the MVC wasn't perfect for us I would never want to move. The conference had 4 teams do well in postseason play. I think with a couple additions like Denver and Oral Roberts or UCSD, this conference is legit and no one will want to leave.
