Good for him to extend the contract.
Hopefully, he'll get the WAC to where losing NMSU won't be a big deal.

Have to think now with the Sinclair/Tribune merger, that the WAC we'll being more OTA games on the STADIUM network since the Tribune stations fills in a lot of the WAC footprint that was missing with the Sinclair stations.
