True. Also, the article states that Rivers knew Brewton prior to coming to Memphis. And if Rivers was on campus during the official visits, I would expect that he met and spent time with the recruits then.

I believe I read that Martin had taken the whole team out, so they have been taking steps to get to know each other. And any conclusions that Rivers is drawing are probably influenced by comparing the new players to what he saw from guys who are no longer on the roster.
