Several thoughts:

Summer school--I'm sure we will continue to have a summer session for practice purposes, but Coach probably won't be too concerned if players don't get a full load. Tony has never wanted guys here for two summer sessions. He wants them to have time at home and time to chill. This graduate transfer rule will solidify that decision. Question--Does the coaching staff and administration now decide how many hours of classes a player can have each semester/summer based on gradation outlook?

"Beginning next season, the NCAA will require grad transfers to complete six hours of credit toward a degree in each term. But if a player leaves before earning a degree, it won’t hurt the school’s APR."

What has it been up until now? Three hours? One hour? What a blatant disregard for the student in "student athlete." Six hours each term? Not sure, but I think undergrads have to take 12 hours to be eligible. Why allow fewer hours in a situation that is ripe for abuse? And no problem if you leave before earning a degree. That's not why you were there in the first place.
