SMU isn't just coming off A conference championship, we have won two of the last three conference regular season and tournament championships. And the third year we finished second, one game behind Temple where we got screwed with the schedule because Temple did not have to play us in Dallas. Also, we beat UConn in the conference tournament championship game in Hartford in 2015. A hostile, soldout road game against the defending national champs who needed that game to get into the tourney.

I see this having all the key components to become a nasty rivalry. 6 hour drive to Moody, and WSU travels well. 3K went to Tulsa, I wonder how many will make first trip to Dallas.

Moody only holds 7K with approx 5K being sold season tix. I believe we give 250-500 to the visiting team. I would guess the most you'll be able to get your hands on at 1K. The most opposing fans i can remember at Moody post-reno (2013) is Arkansas in 2014 where they had maybe 750. Cincy brought maybe 500 for the game this last season.
