I'm not hating.. but I'll just say to me UTA won the league while Troy won the tournament. Wasn't Troy the 7 seed? Troy played well at the end when it mattered and played its way into the NCAA Tourney. Congrats on that, but UTA won the league this year.

Yes, I was kind of curious about this myself. Troy finished several games behind UTA who returns a bunch, including Hervey, and behind a few other teams who return most of their players. I'm not sure how they magically become league favorites

Getting hot for 4 days in March does not make you league favorites. It's why I don't care for the tournament to begin with. Just give the regular season champ the bid and go on, or create a tournament that gives them a big advantage.

We finished 14-6 in the final 20 games. We were Doing Good well before the tourney started as well. Had we played as well through the whole of the season we would have finished higher than a 6 seed.

I've heard this both ways... we won the regular season in 2010 but WKU won the tourney. WKU fans will claim 2010 they were SBC champs as I had a debate with one of their fans Years back. Either way both schools will have a SBC champions banner in their arena somewhere.

We may or may not be the preseason favorites next year but I think they will have us top 3.
