Yeah, but Crean's been to a Final Four and 3 S16s.

Final Four was due to Wade. 3 S16s with Indiana in 9 years. Like I said in the original post, Crean was given a 3 year honeymoon with IU, so 3 S16s in 6 years is good, but not good enough at a program that is probably top 8 or so:

Duke, UNC, UCLA, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville and IU. Syracuse has actually had better success than IU in the last 25 years, but Syracuse doesn't have the local HS talent that Indiana does.

Of the schools listed above, I would think pretty much any coach who only went to the S16s 50% of the time would get fired.
