Yeah OK. For a lot of schools there is no fear. Kentucky has played WKU (and lost twice, lol) recently. But for Alabama and Auburn, they will play anyone in the world except us. Go check out the instate schools they've played. It's a long list, and we're not anywhere close to being on it.

To be fair, I don't see us playing Jacksonville State anytime soon, even though I would LOVE to play them.

You will NEVER see Alabama or Auburn play Troy, UAB, or South Alabama. They will play the FCS schools like Jacksonville State and Samford, but they won't play the FBS schools. Heck, Troy has been around over 100 years in football and have never played Alabama or Auburn. UAB has been around since the mid 90's and has never played them either.

But isn't it pretty much so for all sunbelt in state schools. I know GS has played Ga but I think it was scheduled before the Eagles move to FBS. So time will tell if they get GA to schedule them.
