I understand your point about them being on last place teams, but Dixon & Sims are also 2 of the top 3 scorers in the WAC. Dixon is actually averaging more points per game in conference play than Russell.

If you and I were voters, maybe we could say with certainty that they "can't" be awarded. However, this is the coaches and media we are talking about. I can't say anything is for certain when it comes to predicting what they'll do.
