I know a lot of skepticism is thrown LU's way by outsiders and their perception that Liberty will have a difficult time scheduling games whether it is late-season games, home games, or quality opponents. I just hope we get regular rivals that we play annually. It would be neat to finish the season against Coastal despite not being in the same conference but as their biggest draw over the years (I imagine), I would expect them to be receptive to the idea.
Plus playing and beating them would be especially nice, and a good way to even things out with the smugness expressed by some of their posters on the SBC board. There was a lot of "we're better than you" by several posters with their SBC invite. It's funny how things equal out in a short time. We'll see how the two teams compete on the FBS level. It could develop into a nice rivarly, or better said, a graduation of the BSC rivarly on the FBS level.
