Well nothing is final. Without UND, the conference tournament becomes almost bare. The link earlier outlines a reconfigured WCHA and CCHA if UND is gone. Hockey fans like to travel to opposing barns, and that's not possible cheaply with the current alignment.

Minn St-Mankato applied earlier, but was turned down as was Ariz St, which still doesn't have a decent arena.

ASU would be a mistake. Take those recruits used to cuddling with chubby ugly pale girls to stay warm all winter and show them a tanned up sexycoed at ASU and they won't be able to sign up for the scholarship fast enough. Seriously, unless you are going to the NHL choosing 4 years at Minnesota or Arizona is a no brainer. ASU would steal recruits.

What if you were raised diehard UND hockey? Would you consider Arizona State for the sexy girls as you mentioned? Obviously its not as simple as waive the P5 card and recruiting is automatic.

I think a kid who grew up in Minnesota or North Dakota would be happy to live 4 years in Arizona playing hockey and going to school. IF you feel differently you're entitled to your opinion.

You probably didn't' get much in college as you dont' seem to understand the difference in Minnesota women and ASU women. ASU women are hard to beat and Minnesota weather sucks donkey. If you are not NHL bound I thin "ASU could steal recruits from schools in cold locations with ugly women.
