I honestly thought that with all the publicity re the turnaround and the bowl appearance that we would be doing much much better recruiting wise. With Hall I have no idea maybe closer to home, remember the FCS Div II schools have less strict academic requirements than FBS, there is also now a core requirement of high school classes to qualify. Losing Hall will just push down the MAC recruiting rankings some more.

I've gone back to my list on the other recruiting thread and we lost two other GA DB who we offered have gone to Georgia St. We lost one JUCO de to San Jose St and another JUCO LB to La Lafayette and an OK TE to Ohio U. Very frustrating.

This reminds why coaches, I think, hate the way folks follow recruiting.

If 10 schools are offering a prospect, 9 will end up being disappointed.

So to get say one commit, a school might be 'rejected' by 5 or 10 other prospects.

Kind of like watching Philadelphia 76ers basketball last year or two, one win and say seven losses out of eight games. Takes a lot of patience to tolerate that.
