The Coogs hire Miss. State QB Coach Brian Johnson as Offensive Coordinator.
Source: The Houston Chronicle

Quote:Johnson, a Baytown native, spent the past three seasons as quarterbacks coach on Dan Mullen's staff at Mississippi State. Prescott, who broke 38 school records, is currently the starting quarterback for Super Bowl contender Dallas.
In Johnson's first two seasons at MSU, the Bulldogs produced the two highest single-season passing totals in school history.
Mississippi State averaged 30.4 points and 440.2 yards per game en route to going 6-7 this season.
In three seasons under Johnson, the Bulldogs were second in the Southeastern Conference in total offense (average of 6,129 yards per season) and passing offense (average of 3,492 yards) after finishing ninth in total offense in the year prior to his arrival.

Hmm...I think we'll be okay after all. Thoughts, fellow Coogs?
