RE: Rumor: UCONN to fire Diaco and find a new HC - Utilize the Boise Method?
UConn announced that it is looking for an OC. They didn't confirm that Diaco is staying, but it was implied, as they wouldn't hire an OC before hiring a new HC. Fleck would have been ideal at UConn, but it looks like we are stuck with Diaco for another year, so his buyout goes down.

As for Boise, UConn is absolutely never going to take the Boise approach. Nothing could be further from the truth. The reality is that admissions are so strict now, that many players can't come to UConn. Might they loosen it? Maybe, but only to the level used by other, normal P5 type schools, not down to the Boise level. Keeping academic excellence is a high priority.
