As for the attendance debate/pissing match, I think in this case the schools located in larger cities have the advantage, at least with hoops. I know I've never even considered season tickets for basketball, simply because there are too many variables to make it to a game. Half (roughly) of the games are going to be on a weeknight, which means you have to navigate work obligations and other social/family obligations. Throw in that the weather is completely unpredictable, means that the travel time is unpredictable, and it's tough to commit to making many games, unless you live in the immediate area.

Hamilton didn't play as he was recovering from a wrist injury. Bulls looked disinterested from the start.. I don't put too much stock into these games and I would rather be in UB's shoes than VCU's and lose these games.

How can a team be disinterested when playing their first game against another team, any other team, after weeks of practice against each other? I don't get it.
